Only administrators should have access to chat histories.

It would be nice to be able to tell who’s online like in FaceBook. But also give people the ability to make themselves appear “Offline” also.
To preserve confidentiality of chats, only administrators and the originator of a chat room should be able to invite new participants to the chat.
Administrators should have the ability to change the name of or delete a chat room.
