Need categories or labels for company docs

Groups are one way to segment docs into "categories", but it would also be nice if tags or labels could also be applied during upload to allow for GDocs/GMail-like "folders" on the Company Docs page.

  1. Agreed. As the product and our usage of it matures, we are starting to accumulate too much of everything to maintain in a flat structure. We need a global grouping capability that can be be applied to documents, tasks, GROUPS, members, etc.

    Yes, I definitely recommend the ability of tagging with multiple keywords or phrases for items such as documents.

  5. Yup. Someone in my organization just asked how to create a folder within a Group. Good idea.

    I agree I believe tags would help narrow done the search.

    The wiki page list also only shows page title, not the group in which it resides. Having 6 pages named "Goals" doesn't help you choose the right one.
